Horse Pictures

Ernie

Miss Haley and Her mom Chris

Haley's mom Chris was kind enough to send me the horse pictures from last Friday! I think they turned out great! I am so glad that Haley's mom and Grandpa were kind enough to bring in Ernie and I know all the kids were too..so a big Thank you goes out to them! I figured all of the kids would get to pet the horse but I never expected them to sit on him! They did great and they all waited their turn very nicely, and Ernie was a good sport too!

This week we will be working on a new letter..F. We will be doing different crafts and activities dealing with this letter, we will try and have our show-and-tell pertain to that letter but remember its not required, if they bring something Fun that they like to play with that starts with F as well! We are very impressed with how well all of the kids are doing when it comes to tracing the letters and learning how to write them on their own. You can tell a difference from Monday's papers to Friday's. The new kids are starting to write their names better and better each time as well.

Chloe is our next star student! We will have her bring pictures from home and we will put them up on the board for the week. Last week was Caden, and we learned all about him and how much he loves his brother "bubby" Brandon. I think this is a great way for us to learn more about our friends. The kids love telling about their family members and everyone else loves listening to them tell. I will try and post a picture of the student on here as well so the parents can recognize the faces with the names!

Exciting Letter E Show-n-tell!

I am sure all of you have heard about it, but we had a very exciting show-and-tell on Friday. We were working on the letter E so we all brought something from home that started with the letter E. We had all sorts of creative ideas Emily brought an envelope, Elijah brought colorful Easter eggs, Ashlyn brought an elephant and there were many more. Now Miss Haley had the most exciting thing that started with E. Haley's mom and grandpa actually brought her horse Ernie to visit us! The kiddos had the opportunity to pet the horse but they were also able to sit on him! He was a very big horse, I had so many kids come up to me and tell me they wanted one for Christmas, but they wanted theirs to be purple and pink! So you better start saving for them! It was a very good experience, Haley's mom Chris was fortunate enough to bring her camera, so we will have pictures that will hopefully be posted on here soon!

Our First (and hopefully not last) Post!

Welcome to the official Happy Days web page! I thought this would be a great way for everyone to see all the fun and exciting things we do each day!  I will be posting pictures as well as some of the things we are learning about, so if anyone has pictures they would like me to post just email me anytime at lesamaurer@hotmail.com or feel free to post them yourself!  I hope this will be a fun site for all of us to interact with one another since we might not always get to talk on a regular basis. So hopefully this is something we can have fun with!
Enjoy! -Lesa Maurer
